Daddy's New Helper........

I just love moments like these. People who deal with infertility never know if they are going to experience simple moments like this. I am SO incredibly blessed to look out my garage and see this....I love this little girl (and her daddy too) so very much!! I thank God giving me this incredible gift!!

Are You Kidding Me??

So, many of you know that we have been working on obedience with our dogs. They are still seperated as we are slowly working trying to untrain all the bad habits that they have developed. My lovely Belle DOES NOT like to be outside without priviledges of the doggie door. Dolores gave us a scat mat that helps to prevent scratching..well my smart dog starting scratching the stucco!! Yes..the stucco..so I created a barrier so she couldn't do either. Well Saturday, I heard scratching!! How and the heck?? I go downstairs and see this...

YES THAT IS MY DOG STANDING ON TOP OF THE KENNEL!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME??!?!

Flashback Friday- 9/11 Remembered

Since today was the 8th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, I thought it would be appropriate to have my flashback friday honor those valiant men and women who got up on that ordinary day 8 years ago never knowning that it would be the last time they called a loved one, last time they rode the subway, last time they kissed a loved one good-bye, last time they dropped off a beautiful child at school, last time they stopped by Starbucks, the last time they would clock in at their job. With all these lasts came their first day in true paradise.

When we did the Avon Walk in New York City in October of 2006, we had the opportunity to visit Ground Zero. Nothing can describe or explain the feelings, emotions, and sights you see. Pictures don't do it justice. I can't wait to go back and visit some day so that I could see the memorial that is currently being built..I believe.

I'm so thankful...

On Saturday was MeMe's birthday, but we had to celebrate it on Sunday because of a Monahan get together. I made a broccoli chicken casserole, and we got her her favorite dessert..and Idclair from Claim Jumpers...Yum!! Happy Birthday Grandma!
