Las Vegas

Last weekend we ventured out to Las Vegas to support Uncle Babe (aka Uncle Nick) run in the Baker to Vegas run. It was his first time participating and he was assigned the hardest leg during the middle of the night. We were so nervous for him! So Greg, Ali, Michelle, Nick, Ella, Jen, and Bill and I all went out there for some fun and good family time!

Michelle and I at the end of his leg freezing!! It was 40 degrees outside and it was 2:25 in the morning...yet were dressed like typical Las Vegas weather...capris and sandals!! I know..Dumb!! Since we were really not sure how it was all going to work..Greg, Jen, and Bill stayed back with the girls! Next time (as long as it isn't 2 in the morning again) we all plan on being out there as cheerleaders!!

We stayed at out timeshare off the strip and spent most of the time doing this....

 On Friday night we were able to meet up with Auntie N-G-O (sounds like the song Bingo...aka Aunty Angel and Uncle Robit for a delicious dinner!! WE had soo much fun and sure do get great reminders when we spend time with them that we really doo MISS them LOTS and LOTS!!

We had a great weekend!!!

Spring Pictures

About a month ago, my sister-in-law came up with a brillant idea.. Let's take some spring pictures!! Good idea!! We dressed them up in a matching dresses and headed out to a photographers dream field. It was full of wild flowers, grass, trees, and more wildflowers. I was very excited with the way they came out!! Gosh..I just love these kids!!!

Disneyland with Jadie

I know..you may be noticing a pattern!! Yes, we love to go to Disneyland and yes we go a lot! Someone calls me up and invites to us...we are there!! My cousin Coreen and Jadie arranged for us to meet them for the day..and let me tell you they had fun!! Michelle, Ella, Alison, and myself joined them early. Aunty Jen and Greg came down after school got out. Here are some pictures from the day....

Nissa & Jim say "I love you"

Three weeks ago my cousin married her best friend and soul mate. We gained a new cousin and littler cousins too!! Jim, Jayna, & Lauren..here is an official welcome to our family!! You are stuck forever!

 

Can I say the wedding was beautiful....YES!! As I started preparing Alison for where we were going, she very quickly picked up on the event and said "Mommy, Jim says "I love Nissa"". That's right honey! BTW, Jim has always had a soft spot in Alison's heart. She loves him soo much!!

She saw this rose petals that were scattered down the aisle after the ceremony. Of course, they called her name..so she just had to play with them.

Did we party...ABSOLUTELY!!

It was a beautiful day all around. Aniessa & Jim, we wish you nothing but a lifetime of love and happiness. Though the trying times may come...your love for each other will always remain. Congratulations!!

Flashback Friday...Easter Style

On the brink of such a significant weekend, I thought I would do flashback friday...easter style. It truly amazing how fast time flies. Well as the day is coming to an end, I can't help but stop and reflect on the amazing meaning of what the day truly represents. Our family is so grateful for all the wonderful blessings that have showered us from above but most of all we are forever thankful for the eternal promise that Christ made us when he so freely paid the ultimate price for us sinners. Here is my baby's 1st easter....
