Happy Birthday Grandma Cindy!
(I tried to do this post yesterday but blogger wasn't working!)
Do you think cake tastes as good in heaven as it does here???
What does a birthday celebration look like when you are in the presence of Christ himself? Is everyday like a birthday celebration??
Until we reach heaven and find out, our chocolate cake with sprinkles and a missing birthday girl is what we have. The girls love to celebrate Grandma Cindy's birthday, and they clearly know who we are singing to.
(btw...we totally didn't plan the yellow theme at all!)
While we were attempting to get a picture of the three girls together , Paige decided to stick her foot in the frosting. Oh man..that was a No-No..and Alison was paraniod...so how could we solve that problem????
well lick it off of course..Crazy girl!!
My sister said it best....
"I can't believe how long its been without our mom. This December we will be coming up on her 9th anniversary. Today is her Birthday and like we have done every year since she passed away, we will be celebrating her birthday!!!"
And here we are signing Happy Birthday!! Paige's face says it all...
Alison blew out all the candles for all of them because Ella said "Too HOT"...
But even though she didn't blow them out...she stuck her finger in the frosting first!
She loved her first birthday celebration!
Happy Birthday Mom!! We love you so much!!
I wish with all I am that you were here with us to celebrate your birthday, however, the looks on these girls' face clearly show that despite your absence we still love and enjoy your special day!
Deniston Family Pictures
Around Memorial Day we were fortunate to have some of our family who live out town all be together for one evening. Uncle Levi, who has been in Japan for the last year and half stopped by on his way to his new duty in South Carolina, Tio Brian, Tia Angie, & Isaiah came from Arizona, and Aunty Angel came from Las Vegas! We were soo excited to see everyone (but sad Uncle Robert, Aunty Pang, & cousin Daisy couldn't make it).
Since a majority of the family was coming, I encouraged Kathy to arrange for everyone to take some family pictures. We were WAY over-do and figured some family is better than none! I LOVE doing family pictures for my family. It has nothing to do business and EVERYTHING to do capturing life-time memories and moments!
It makes me so happy to give these gifts!! Here's what we took..
Ali with Aunty Angel
Ali and May May
Ali with May May & Popsies
A true portrayal of our family...everyone being goofy and all Grandma can do is laugh!
Pops & May May
All the siblings with Brad & Kathy
While trying to get the big group together, I saw her snuggling with him and just had to capture it!
This picture is classic...mayhem going on all around..and Grandma is just smiling.
I would say with happiness because all her family is there...what do you think??
The family minus the in-laws...
Pops & Grandma with all the kids
Are we noticing a theme...everyone is crazy and all Grandma can do is smile!
The family (minus Robert, Pang, & Daisy)
Brothers & a Sister...
The boys and their mom
Levi, & Angel with their Dad
Our family
I had fun taking the pictures, and I hope everyone liked them!! I am not going to give up until we get everyone in picture!!

The Great Park
Our first MOPS Summer outing was at the Great Park in Irvine.
Our outing included a hot air balloon ride and a carousel ride.
We had soo much fun!!
They love going on MOPS playdates together!
Getting ready for our turn in the balloon...
Here we go...up, up, and away!!
That is Aunty Jen and Paige down there..She was too scared to come on!! 'Fraidy Cat!!
It was such a clear and beautiful day!
The view from the top was soo neat!
She was having a blast!
That's one big balloon!
Paige got to come on her very first MOPS outing!! She had to meet new friends because she will be coming with us next semester!
She loves riding on carousels!! She named her horse Ginger. Are we surprised by that name???
The view from the park while we ate our lunch under the trees!!
We love MOPS and all our outings!
Father's Day
Woohoo..a post the next day!! Yesterday was our special day to show our dads some extra love and that is exactly what Alison and I did! We started the day by making daddy french toast, eggs, and sausage. We went to church and this is what she made him. He had to wear it all day. Greg's family came over for an early dinner.
We always have fun getting together!
I guess it seems fitting that this Crazy Coupon Lady would incorporate coupons into his present! :)
(Guess I have an new obsession..shh...don't tell anyone)
Daddy got a book of coupons that he could use whenever! Some coupons include a car wash, date night at the movies, taking the trash out, and a few blank ones! I hope he has fun redeeming them!

I made our dad's this little memory chalkboards. I do have to admit..I love the way they came out! The idea came from here..but you can see I had to change it up because I didn't have some of the parts from hers.
(The coupons came from there too..love that site!)
That message is straight out of Alison's mouth! I love it!
She is one lucky girl to have such an amazing daddy! They have a special bond that no one else can understand but the two of them.
They are both very sensitive, and words of encouragement is highest on their love language.
Being together is their favorite thing to do!
She is definitely a daddy's girl!!
We are soo grateful to have such a hard working and loving leader in our house.
We love him and all our dads soo very much!
We hope each dad had a great Father's Day!
