Santa or Santiago???

Each year we go to Bass Pro Shop to visit Santa and get Alison's picture take with Santa. Here was last year's picture..and the year before. She has been getting better with characters, and she had a plan! Daddy was going to hold her, and they were going to stand next to Santa..no sitting on his lap.  So I thought this is going to be perfect!!

Here G-pa was trying to take their picture..we stayed back and watched. It was soo cute to see Alison try to get Ella to smile..and G-Pa trying to get that perfect picture..did he get it?? Nope!!

So it's our turn...Wait..That's not our jolly Santa..It is must Santiago his hispanic brother! WHAT??!?! Come on Bass Pro Shop! I know the picture is free, but still!! No..I am not prejudice, but Santa isn't hispanic!!!  Oh well..this is all we got so we are going with it!

So far success..no tears..talking with Santa..Yippee!! 

And Santa went there...he did not accept Greg's suggestion to squat next him! He was persistance that someone was going to sit on his lap, and since Ali wasn't budging...

what's the next best thing???

Yep..the look on his face says it all! Greg was NOT thrilled to be on Santa's lap..

but LOOK...she is smiling!!!

Even though she isn't a boy...he can still play with remote control cars with granddaughters..
