One of our greatest blessing from joining MOPS has been meeting some awesome families! We have enjoyed getting to know each other, and have ventured off to taking some camping trips with them! We love camping..we love awesome people...so it equals an awesome time!! This group of families has started a tradition of going camping the weekend of Halloween. They do their own Halloween celebration..and boy was it fun!!
Here's what we did..
(besides eating yummy food and sitting by camp fires)
The kids made their very own caramel apples...and boy was it a hit! Alison was soo excited!
She chose chocolate chips, sprinkles, and peanuts...It was yummy!
That would be 13 kids under the age of 7..fun times!
She couldn't wait to bite in!!

Kind of hard to tell!
After a yummy potluck mexican themed dinner, the kids got in their costumes and "trick or treated" to each of the 5 campsites.
It was soo comforting to know that each place they trick or treated at was safe. She even got a flashlight that said "shine for Jesus". I love it!

She had a great time spending Halloween with her friends...and we had a great weekend camping!!
We can't wait to go again!!
